WHO: Celebrate Petworth is organized by and for the residents of Petworth and surrounding neighborhoods. WHY: Celebrate Petworth started in 2014 when a group of community organizers in the Petworth neighborhood came together to create a new kind of neighborhood festival: one that seeks to bring together the residents of our neighborhood through the creation of new opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and engagement between local businesses, residents, and community-based organizations.
