9th Annual Celebrate Petworth Festival on September 23, 2023

WHAT: The 9th annual Celebrate Petworth festival celebrates the creativity, diversity, culture, and people of Petworth and its surrounding neighborhoods. WHO: Celebrate Petworth is organized by and for the residents of Petworth and surrounding neighborhoods. The festival is organized with support from Petworth Main Street, a program that seeks to celebrate and highlight the culture, economic, and social contributions this amazing and unique area lends to Washington DC.

WHY: Celebrate Petworth started in 2014 when a group of community organizers in the Petworth neighborhood came together to create a new kind of neighborhood festival: one that seeks to bring together the residents of our neighborhood through the creation of new opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and engagement between local businesses, residents, and community-based organizations.

WHERE: 800 block of Upshur St NW & 4200 Block of 9th Street NW in Petworth

WHEN: Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 11am – 5pm
